Be part of it
Our campus isn't cut off from the city. It's part of it. Central campus is a short walk from the heart of the city. Many of our departments are around the popular West Street area, a centre of student social life, full of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.
University accommodation is a good choice for postgraduates. It's value for money and easy to arrange.
University accommodation: something for everyone
Our accommodation is a contemporary community, designed with everyone in mind. There’s something to suit all our students, including couples and families. So you can concentrate on your studies and not have to worry about landlords and bills.
What's included in the rent?
The rent includes all your bills, contents insurance and 24-hour security. All of our accommodation comes with free wi-fi.
Choice of locations
You can live in the heart of the city or in one of its most popular suburbs, just 1.5 miles from campus. Most of our accommodation is en suite but if you're on a budget you can rent a room with a shared bathroom.
You'll live with other postgrads. There are larger, deluxe rooms and studio apartments if you need more space.

How much does it cost?
Rents in 2014 ranged from £101 per week for a room in a shared flat, to £150 per week for a studio apartment.
Flexible contracts
Contracts are for 42 weeks and 51 weeks - you can choose when you apply. Catered accommodation is also available for postgraduates.
Families and couples
We have a number of apartments and houses suitable for families and couples. They’re all close to the University, shops and good local schools. Each property is fully furnished and has gas central heating and a washing machine or access to a launderette.
Students with special requirements
We also have rooms adapted for students with special requirements. Whatever your needs, let us know when you apply and we’ll take it from there.
